This is my drawn plan that me and Prescious have been working on for Wearable arts. For wearable arts we are making a Pake it is a traditional art project that we have been doing for a while. some of us use traditional method, others use recycling methods, and also methods that use sewing and needles and all that kind of stuff. So we decided to dye the top black and the bottom red. The black represents the Maori culture how they had to live in the darkness because of who they are the red represents sacrifices and war how Maori had to spill a little blood to defend their land and their whanau. We decided to miro our pake because to me it represents how they stuck together and never gave up they believed that they have a right because it was their land and they also just wanted peace so that is why we have made this piece to tell the world that Maori people still and forever will have a right to rule.
